Custom Flag Dye Cuts
a flag with a fish printed on it that it cut out around the shape of the fish. Dye cuts can be the entire flag or just on
one edge. While a dye cut flag offer a more unique and exciting product they may not have the same durability as
standard rectangular flag as the dye cut shape adds more surface area exposed to the elements and often can't be
reinforced in the same way.

information. Flag Shapes: Most often flags are thought of a rectangular in shape with a 3:5 ratio for the sizing. There are in fact many flag shapes that are used for both custom and stock flags.
Pennant- This is a triangle shaped flag with a single point at the end. Often used for sports pennants and nautical flags.
Burgee Cut- These flag are 5 sided with 2 small points on the end. The two sides do not run parallel.
The State Flag of Ohio is but in a burgee shape.
Guidon- Used in many nautical and military flag this flag shape is similar to a burgee cut but the
two sides that run perpendicular to the header run parallel
